It's the end of the summer and this is my first update since July 1....much has happened since then. I am glad to be back to catch you all up on what's been going on. Today is the 5th day of session 8. My final session starts this Wednesday, August 5th then my summer in the Ozarks will be done.
Many of you already know this is my last f ull time summer with KAA. It was late May when I felt the tug to step down from my position here at camp. One of the most difficult things was telling my boss. He was amazing!
My health center staff was even more amazing. They rallied together and treated me to 2 nights at Chateau on The Lake, a resort hotel in the Branson area. What a treat!
This week the public announcement will be made to upper leadership staff. I've shared my decision with many of the staff and my friends. Thank you all for praying with me. Camp has not seen the last of me.
